Updated July 21, 2026: Silver is a low-complexity close-range marksman and brawler who catches targets with Entangling Bola, closes distance with Boot Kick, unloads Slam Fire, and becomes a much harder sustained threat during Lycan Curse.
Silver wants fights where she can stay close enough to keep shooting and meleeing without being isolated from her team. Her abilities are direct, but the hero is unforgiving when she enters before enemy control is spent or transforms too early to reach a meaningful target.

The current July 9 update reduced Lycan Curse to a 60-second base cooldown. That makes transformation windows more available, but it does not make every activation good. Silver still needs a reachable target and enough fight duration to use the bonus health, movement, fire rate, and Bloodlust stacks.

The most-used current order begins with two Slam Fire upgrades, invests twice in Boot Kick, then adds Entangling Bola before unlocking and rapidly upgrading Lycan Curse.

Silver’s popular purchases lean heavily into close-range weapon pressure, but do not treat damage as permission to ignore survival. Debuff Reducer, resistance, stamina, or Warp Stone can create more real uptime than another offensive item against teams built to kite and control her.

How To Play Silver
Lane
Use Bola to create favorable trade windows, not as a signal to sprint into every opponent. Keep enough stamina to leave after Boot Kick, and combine Restorative Shot or melee sustain with short, repeatable trades.
Mid Game
Approach from a side angle where one Bola can threaten a real chase. Silver is much easier to stop when she walks down the center of a lane in full view of every control ability.
Teamfights
Wait until a reachable target appears or key enemy control is committed. Transform when the fight will continue, then use Bola and Boot Kick to stay attached while Slam Fire converts the window into damage.
Late Game
Choose one target and one exit route before committing. Silver can survive longer than her base form suggests, but coordinated late-game focus still punishes a transformation that starts outside useful range.
Silver Combos And Fight Patterns
- Basic catch: Entangling Bola, close with Boot Kick, then use Slam Fire while the target is marked and movement is limited.
- Transformation chase: Lycan Curse before contact, Bola the escape path, Boot Kick to stay attached, and save stamina for the second reposition.

The ability names, current game-data type, complexity, starting stats, and item popularity were checked July 21, 2026 through the independent Deadlock API, which parses current game data. The normal-match analytics window began June 20, 2026 and included 240,713 Silver appearances. The displayed ability path was the most-used complete sequence in a sample of 5,110 matches.
Popularity is not proof that an item or order causes wins. Players buy cheap items more often, late items appear mainly in long games, and hero difficulty changes outcomes. Treat the tables as a current starting route, then adapt to lane pressure, enemy damage, healing, crowd control, and your team composition.
