Silver Slam Fire In Deadlock: How Reload Burst, Current-Health Damage, And The May 31 Nerf Work
Silver 1 is Slam Fire, a reload-and-burst tool that accelerates three shots and now deals 2.5 percent current-health damage after Valve's May 31 nerf.
Slam Fire is Silver asking whether three shots are enough to make the wolf problem everyone else's problem.
Short answer: Slam Fire instantly reloads Silver’s gun, gives her a short burst of huge fire rate, and adds current-health damage for a limited number of shots while cutting weapon accuracy.

Slam Fire Silver instantly reloads, fires a short burst much faster, and adds current-health damage at the cost of accuracy. |
Current Mechanics
Deadlock.one’s current Silver data lists Slam Fire with a 25-second cooldown, 5-second duration, 0.45-second cast delay, 1m cast range, 3 max shots, +300 percent fire rate, 2.5 percent current-health damage, and -30 percent weapon accuracy.
The clean read is this: Slam Fire is Silver’s human-form burst bridge. It reloads the rifle, gives her three accelerated shots, and turns target health into extra pressure. The accuracy penalty is the catch, so this is not a button for lazy max-range poking.
Upgrade Path
- 1 AP: +15 weapon damage.
- 2 AP: -10s cooldown.
- 5 AP: if all shots hit, deal +7 percent current-health damage.
The 1 AP upgrade raises the burst floor. The 2 AP upgrade makes Slam Fire available more often. The 5 AP upgrade is the greedy one: land all three shots or you do not get the prize.
Key Patch Changes
Valve’s Minor Update – 05-31-2026 reduced Slam Fire current-health damage from 3 percent to 2.5 percent and reduced Slam Fire T3 from 8 percent current-health damage to 7 percent.
The Gameplay Update – 05-22-2026 also adjusted Silver’s base gun cycle time from 0.9s to 0.85s while keeping overall DPS adjusted to remain the same. That was not a Slam Fire-only change, but it matters because Slam Fire lives inside Silver’s human-form gun rhythm.
How To Use It
Use Slam Fire when you can actually keep the target in your sights for the full three-shot window. It is especially strong after a slow, a Boot Kick mark, or a close-range commit where the accuracy penalty does not turn the rifle into a public apology.
Rejuv’s February 8, 2026 Silver guide frames Silver as much stronger once wolf form is available and more fragile in human form. That is the point of Slam Fire: it helps the human form produce enough pressure to start the real chase. SwoleBenji’s March 19, 2026 build guide goes even harder on that idea, treating Slam Fire as the main werewolf activator in burst-combo routing.
Counterplay
Do not stand still for all three shots. Break line of sight, force Silver to fire through range and movement, or punish the accuracy penalty by making her shoot while repositioning. If Slam Fire is down, her human form has a much quieter threat window.
Lore And Context
Silver is a bounty hunter before she is a monster problem, and Slam Fire keeps that side of the character visible. The rifle does the paperwork; the curse collects the debt.
