Holliday Spirit Lasso In Deadlock: How The Pull, Stun, Bounce Pad Extension, And Cooldown Work
Holliday 4 is Spirit Lasso, the pull-and-stun ultimate whose upgrades were strengthened in Valve's April 30 update.
Spirit Lasso is Holliday making distance sign a confession.
Short answer: Spirit Lasso is Holliday’s ultimate. It throws a lasso that deals spirit damage, pulls the target, and applies stun, with Bounce Pad extending the lasso duration.

Spirit Lasso Holliday throws a lasso that damages, pulls, and stuns, with Bounce Pad extending the catch duration. |
Current Mechanics
Deadlock.one’s current Holliday data lists Spirit Lasso with a 0.5-second cast delay, 115-second cooldown, -1.0-second charge delay, 60 targeting cone angle, 2.25-second duration, 20m cast range, 80 damage with 0.9 spirit scaling, and +1.0-second extended duration from Bounce Pad.
The key interaction is simple: Bounce Pad gives Spirit Lasso a longer catch window. That makes Holliday’s ultimate more reliable when she commits through her own movement tool instead of just throwing it from a neutral position and hoping.
Upgrade Path
- 1 AP: +80 damage.
- 2 AP: +0.75 duration.
- 5 AP: -50 cooldown.
The upgrades push Spirit Lasso toward repeated, fight-deciding catches: more damage first, more hold time second, and a much shorter ultimate cycle at the top.
Key Patch Changes
Valve’s Gameplay Update – 04-30-2026 fixed Rising Ram interrupting Lasso, increased Spirit Lasso T1 from +68 damage to +80, and increased Spirit Lasso T3 from -30s cooldown to -50s.
Valve’s June 11 update did not list a direct Spirit Lasso change, but it did change Bounce Pad’s T3 into a Holliday-only stomp stun. That indirectly matters because Bounce Pad is part of the clean lasso setup.
How To Use It
Use Spirit Lasso after the target has spent movement, been disrupted by Bounce Pad, or been forced into a barrel angle. Casting it first from maximum range can work, but the ability gets uglier when Holliday uses her kit to remove the target’s easy exits.
SwoleBenji’s June 13, 2026 post-patch guide points directly at the Bounce Pad stun into Lasso idea. evancowboy’s barrel guide also treats Lasso as part of the broader barrel-and-pad combo chain: catch them, then make the follow-up detonation less negotiable.
Counterplay
Track the Bounce Pad and the ultimate cooldown together. If Holliday has both, do not stand where a pad launch turns into a lasso angle. If Lasso misses or is forced early, punish the long base cooldown before the 5 AP upgrade comes online.
Lore And Context
Spirit Lasso is the least subtle part of Holliday’s sheriff file. She is hunting the Troubadour, and her ultimate makes that chase literal: the target gets named, dragged, and stunned in front of the whole lobby.
