How To Convert Deadlock Sensitivity

The calculator preserves physical rotation distance. It uses target sensitivity = source sensitivity × source DPI × source yaw ÷ (target DPI × target yaw). At the same DPI, a Deadlock sensitivity of 1 converts to 2 in CS2 or Apex, about 0.6286 in Valorant, and about 6.6667 in Overwatch 2.
Deadlock Yaw, eDPI, And cm/360
Yaw is the number of degrees the camera turns for each mouse count before the in-game sensitivity multiplier. Current community measurement uses 0.044 for Deadlock. Valve has not published that constant as a stable public specification, so Deadlock updates could change the result.

eDPI is sensitivity multiplied by DPI. It is useful for comparing two setups inside the same game, but it is not enough across games with different yaw constants. cm/360 is the invariant: it measures how far your mouse travels for one complete camera rotation.
Why The Converted Setting Can Still Feel Different
Matching cm/360 preserves the physical turn, not the entire visual experience. Third-person camera distance, field of view, zoom multipliers, acceleration, frame pacing, and target movement can all change perceived speed. Deadlock also asks for wide camera movement and ability targeting that may justify a different final sensitivity than a tactical shooter.
A Valve developer stated in a February 2026 forum reply that camera control keeps Windows Enhance Pointer Precision off, while UI behavior can use that operating-system setting. That distinction is another reason to test camera movement in a practice area instead of judging sensitivity from menus or the chat wheel.
Deadlock Sensitivity Converter FAQ
What is Deadlock's yaw value?
Current independent converters use 0.044 degrees per count. Treat it as a measured community value rather than a permanent official specification.
What is the Deadlock-to-CS2 sensitivity ratio?
At equal DPI, multiply Deadlock sensitivity by 2. A Deadlock setting of 0.5 becomes CS2 1.0 while preserving the same physical 360-degree distance.
Does changing DPI affect the conversion?
Yes. Doubling target DPI halves the required target sensitivity. This calculator includes source and target DPI separately so the physical rotation remains matched.
Is the same eDPI equal across different games?
Not necessarily. eDPI ignores each game's yaw constant. Use eDPI within one game and cm/360 for comparisons across games.
Does matching cm/360 guarantee identical aim?
No. It matches rotation distance. FOV, camera position, zoom, movement, and the game's input implementation can still affect feel.
