Melee Creeps Roster Changes: Eidorian, Dew, and Fishcake Leave After Night Shift Loss
Melee Creeps is rebuilding around Saiah and JonJon after reported departures for eidorian, dew, and fishcake, with four players now trialing following a 2-1 loss to Poppers Pupils.
The old six played one last three-game final. Two days later, the rebuild was public.
Melee Creeps is rebuilding after three reported departures and a Deadlock Night Shift finals loss. Deadfrag reported on July 18, 2026 that eidorian and dew had left the roster, with fishcake’s departure attributed to Saiah’s Twitch stream one day earlier. The team is now trialing oses, Goober, braeden, and birdee around remaining players Saiah and JonJon.

The timing connects the roster reset to one final result for the previous lineup. On July 16, Melee Creeps lost 2-1 to Poppers Pupils, a new team built around former FPS Lounge players, in the Deadlock Night Shift North America #47 final.
Who Left The Melee Creeps Deadlock Roster?
Deadfrag’s July 18 roster report lists eidorian, dew, and fishcake as departures. Eidorian had joined Melee Creeps in October 2025. Dew arrived in February 2026. Fishcake’s exit was reported as coming from Saiah’s July 17 Twitch stream.
Saiah and JonJon are the two players listed as remaining from the established roster. POSHYPOP is trialing as coach. The report does not announce permanent destinations for the three departing players, so transfer speculation should stay separate from the confirmed roster movement.
The changes are especially notable because Melee Creeps has been one of North America’s most recognizable recurring Deadlock teams. DramaLock previously covered the roster’s controversial Urn strategy in Night Shift #40. This is a different story: personnel movement after a tournament loss, not a rules dispute.
Who Is Trialing For Melee Creeps?
The July 18 update names four trial players:
- oses
- Goober
- braeden
- birdee
A trial is not a finalized signing. It gives Melee Creeps enough names to test a six-player configuration with Saiah and JonJon, but the eventual lineup can still change. The most accurate current description is a four-player trial around a two-player core.
Who Are Poppers Pupils?
Poppers Pupils debuted in Night Shift NA #47 with Poppers, League, AVG, Zeno, LOMEIN, and Lefaa. Deadfrag described the roster as a group of former FPS Lounge players, though its match report also said some other FPS Lounge players could still be under contract and acting as substitutes.
The new name arrived while FPS Lounge faced a pending investment-contract complaint and separate public payment allegations. Those claims are detailed in DramaLock’s FPS Lounge lawsuit explainer. The competitive result can be verified independently of that controversy: Poppers Pupils entered the event and won the final 2-1.
What Happened In Deadlock Night Shift NA 47?
Deadfrag’s match report records three games:
- Game 1, match 94031068: Poppers Pupils won 35-24 in 39:17. Zeno finished 6/0/21, and Lefaa added 20 assists on Pocket.
- Game 2, match 94038881: Melee Creeps answered 53-43 in 48:44. Dew went 15/3/15 on Pocket with 116,000 player damage reported.
- Game 3, match 94048508: Poppers Pupils closed the series 49-14 in 28:14. Poppers finished 18/0/15.
The event listing from EGamersWorld also records the 2-1 final and a $1,000 winner prize. The result gave Poppers Pupils an immediate tournament win under the new name.
Did The Night Shift Loss Cause The Departures?
The timing is close, but the reviewed sources do not establish cause. The old roster played the July 16 final, fishcake’s departure was reported July 17, and the broader roster update followed July 18. That chronology supports saying the rebuild followed the loss. It does not prove the result caused any player to leave.
Roster decisions can involve team fit, contracts, practice schedules, personal plans, or opportunities that are not public. Until the players or team explain the reasons, DramaLock is treating the exits and the final as connected in time rather than assigning a motive.
What Comes Next For Melee Creeps And Poppers Pupils?
Melee Creeps needs to convert trials into a stable six and decide whether POSHYPOP remains as coach. Poppers Pupils needs to show whether the debut lineup is durable beyond one Night Shift bracket. The departing trio’s next teams are also unresolved.
The next roster sheet and tournament registration will be more reliable than social speculation. Until then, the confirmed competitive picture is simple: Poppers Pupils won NA #47, and Melee Creeps entered a four-player trial two days later.
