About DramaLock & Editorial Standards
How DramaLock reports Deadlock stories, verifies sources, labels satire, updates guides, handles corrections, and accepts tips.
DramaLock is an independent editorial site focused on Valve’s Deadlock. We cover game updates, community stories, competitive play, streamers, lore, and practical guides for people trying to understand a game that is still changing.
Who is Lockwatch?
Lockwatch is DramaLock’s house editorial byline. It identifies reporting, analysis, and guide work produced for this site. You can follow the publication on X @dramalocked.
How we report
- We prefer Valve posts, official patch notes, original social posts, first-hand clips, tournament pages, and other primary sources.
- We use exact dates when timing matters and distinguish confirmed facts from claims, rumor, inference, and community theory.
- We link the strongest available source in the article and update developing stories when better evidence appears.
- We clearly label satire published in The Urn so it is not confused with straight reporting.
Guides and live data
Deadlock remains in development. Heroes, items, matchmaking systems, access rules, schedules, and statistics can change quickly. Our guides state when information was checked, cite current sources where practical, and avoid presenting estimates or community tools as official Valve data.
Corrections and updates
When a material fact is wrong, we correct the article and identify the update with a date when the change affects the story’s meaning. Minor spelling, formatting, and clarity edits may be made without a correction note.
